A smarter website for DML — visible, easy and fast loading
DML Produktion och Logistik is a family-owned company based in Värnamo, currently run by the couple Pauline and Philip. They offer services in metal processing, warehousing, and third-party logistics. The company specializes in contract manufacturing for the metal industry, handling of hazardous goods, and tailored logistics solutions.
Topborn began its collaboration with DML Produktion och Logistik at the end of 2024. At that time, the company had an older website built on an outdated CMS (Content Management System). This limited both functionality and performance, while also offering weak support for SEO. In an increasingly digital world, it therefore became crucial for Philip and Pauline to invest more in SEO in order to be visible where their customers search — namely on Google.
Topborn’s web developer Ludvig Gabrielii took charge of the project, and after a few meetings, a clear vision emerged for what DML Produktion och Logistik’s new website should look like.
— With Philip, it was straight to the point! He clearly described exactly what they wanted and which services they wanted to be visible for on Google. An important part was that he and Pauline would be able to easily update the website themselves, without having to contact us every time, says Gabrielii, and continues:
— In collaboration with the SEO team, we created a sitemap that was logical and hierarchical — exactly what Google rewards. The hierarchy was then implemented in an image-based menu to clearly illustrate what their services cover.
The new website was launched in early 2025, and today DML Produktion och Logistik has a site that design-wise resembles the old one, but with a more refined user interface, simple contact paths, and strong support for SEO. A new website also brings several important improvements, such as increased security against hacker attacks, viruses, and data breaches.
